PRE-PRIMARY SECTION
Nursery, LKG & UKG

PRIMARY SECTION
Class I & II

The curriculum in this section is designed to provide the students with learning opportunities. The focus in this section slowly moves towards strengthening the student’s comprehension and writing skills in all the three languages i.e. English, Assamese & Hindi taught in the Pre-primary section. Besides emphasizing on the prescribed subjects, the curriculum also focus on the following :

The curriculum for this section is based on the guidelines issued by NCERT. The emphasis at this stage is on the learning and understanding of concepts through an engaging and relevant curriculum. The main focus for the students of this section are as follows :

  • Encourage the students to read story books, newspaper and magazines
  • Developing the basic mathematical concepts.

  • Instilling in them the Moral values.

The curriculum for this section is based on the guidelines issued by NCERT. As this stage is a transition period of a student from childhood to adolescence, therefore, we focus mostly on the following areas :

  • Guidance by the School Counsellor are provided to deal with the emotional needs of the students.
  • To develop communication and listening skills through activities like debates, elocution, extempore, declamation, role play etc.
  • Identify the talent of the student and encourages them to develop themselves to their fullest potential.
  • Encourage the students to be compassionate and develop a sense of responsibility toward the society.
  • Involving students in workshops, seminars, presentation, demonstration etc.
  • Identifying the learning gap of the students and undertake remedial measures accordingly.

SECONDARY SECTION
Class IX & X

The curriculum followed in the Secondary Section is as per the CBSE Curriculum based on the National Curriculum Framework-2005. The curriculum seeks to provide opportunities for students to achieve excellence in learning.
